The Sublime Motosports Team

Meet the folks that live and breath all things motorsports! When you walk into our shop, you can expect to be greeted by the following dirt bike loving guys!

Eric Sauvé

Meet Eric – Sublime Motosports’ Chief « Wheelie » Officer.

Eric’s love story with 2 wheeled vehicles started a long, long time ago, in a land far, far away….well….not THAT far, in Embrun Ontario, to be exact. When he was 6 years old, he was gifted his 1989 Honda Z50 and he used it to zoom around his huge yard and make friends with the neighbouring farmers’ cows. Fast forward to adulthood, he somehow managed to convince his girlfriend that whatever he spent on her engagement ring, he’d also spend on a dirt bike.

That year, Eric got a Yamaha WR250R, and his fiancé got a BEAUTIFUL ring In his late teens, Eric decided to aim his career in the IT industry. He worked for the Canadian Public Service for close to 20 years, with the last 10 years in leadership positions. Eric managed many teams and projects of various sizes...but his heart was yearning for the braaap. He decided to step away from his corporate job and enter the industry which he has loved all of his life.

He is now the owner and general manager of Sublime Motosports Inc, a family-owned shop he manages with his 2 kids who adore motosports, and, of course, his wife of 12 years. He still has the Yamaha, and she still has the ring.

Lance Trudeau

Meet Lance, Sublime Motosports’ Chief “Wrenching” Officer.

Our staff’s life stories seem to indicate that dirt bikes are definitely the BEST thing to gift to your kids because Lance’s own Braaaap story started at the tender age of 4, with his 1983 Honda Z50.

A local Shawville/Clarendon boy, he grew up with Duchanes’ pit as his playground. It’s where he spent most of his days, and where you could find him practicing his stunts he’d be performing by adulthood during his FMX career.

Indeed, Lance started racing at 10 years old, which kept him very busy. What did he do on his off time between racing and school, you may ask? Well, Lance was an avid reader you see – of his dirt bike manuals! With his service manuals and dad’s guidance, he quickly learned how to rebuild his top-end for the first time and has never stopped perfecting those skills to this day.

For the last 20 years, Lance worked for his dad’s local family business. Recently, he decided to follow his dream of wrenching on dirtbikes as he joined the Sublime Motosports team. To this day, Lance is still riding 2 wheels on his 2002 Honda CR250 and will until he physically can’t anymore. With his bike, career, hobby, as well as 3 kids and a wife who all love the dirt life, he’s got the life he’s always dreamed of.

Torque

Meet Torque, Sublime Motosports’ Chief “Cuddle” Officer.

As his name indicates, Torque was born for his career at our local dirt bike and ATV shop.

Following the passing of their previous dog, the Sauvé family was in a state of mourning. Since their heartbreak was for a long-haired Golden Retriever, they all decided their next puppy would be her exact opposite – a male, short haired black lab.

One day, as she was perusing ads to find used ATVs and dirt bikes for what would eventually become the family business, Maman Sauvé found an ad from a local Labrador breeder. Their latest litter had a little black male that hadn’t been sold and needed a home. Believing in faith, they decided this was meant to be.

That same day, Torque found a home, the Sauvés found their hearts full again, and Sublime Motosports found its Welcome Committee. When you visit our shop, you might be surprised by the presence of a large black dog, but don’t let appearances fool you: this is no gloomy beast.

Torque is pure love and happiness and will always be there to warmly welcome you into the store at first sniff.Torque has quickly become close friends with Lance, so if you’re allergic or simply not comfortable with doggies, do not fret – he will gladly go help out our Chief Wrenching Officer in the garage and let you do your thing.
